Lake Biwa's scenery and the sites around it are visited one by one, with no story that leads through Shiga as a whole.
視点Approach
Shiga is read as the hub of the great route from Tsuruga across the lake into the capital region, with arrival points on its western and eastern shores.

- A Map of the Ancient Artery showing sea lanes, harbors, tombs and shrines
- A circuit of the arrival points at Karasaki, Asazuma, Aisho and Gamo
- Following the ancient lake route by boat from Shiozu and Kaizu to Chikubushima
